Nokia extends warranty from 12 months to 24 months through Nokia Care Protect


Nokia Care Protect Warranty, nokia 24 month warrantyNokia has launched the Nokia Care Protect in Pakistan through which the 12 month warranty of Nokia handsets will be extended to 24 months at nominal expenses. Usually the Nokia handsets start giving problems after 18 to 24 months of use. Their warranty is limited to 12 months and it mostly expires without any problems with the handsets.
The Nokia Care Protect is an add-on service for which customers pay little extra charges before the 12 month warranty of their handsets can expire. After paying this amount, they get the peace of mind as they do not have to pay anything on the repair of their handsets for the 12 additional months after the initial warranty of their Nokia handsets end. So the Nokia customers can use their handsets without the fear of damage or related problems for 24 months after purchase. The support under Nokia Care Protect can be availed through three methods that are by visiting the Nokia Care Center, by contacting Nokia at its online portal and by making call to Nokia helpline numbers.
The company has divided the expenses on the Nokia Care Protect under the three different categories. These categories have been decided on the base of handset price. In this regard, Nokia handsets in the range between Rs 1000 to Rs 2000 that include Nokia C1, C2, X1, X2, E1, E2. The second category is with in the price range of Rs 3000 to Rs 7000 including Nokia C3, C5, C6, X3, X5, X6, E5 and E6.  Whereas, Nokia Eseries, Nseries and the Nokia sets C7, X7, E7, N8 and N9 fall in the third category.
The launching ceremony in this regard was held yesterday. It was addressed by the Country Care Manager, Nokia Pakistan and Afghanistan, Reza Burney, who said that the Nokia Care Protect was another initiative taken by Nokia Pakistan to delight its customers. He added that the initiative would ensure the peace of mind for the Nokia customers as it would add another facility in a new dimension of country’s telecom sector.
