Mobile Application Development workshop by djuice and Qualcomm

Mobile Applications development is on rise in Pakistan. Various multinational organizations are conducting competitions and workshops to give this segment of the industry a much needed boost.

Qualcomm and djuice also have planned to conduct various such free workshops for university students. In this regard, first workshop of this series was held at a local hotel providing training on Augmented Reality technology and how it can be integrated into mobile apps.

The workshop was participated by the students from NUST, COMSATS, FAST, Iqra University and International Islamic University.

Both the companies plan to hold such workshops in Lahore and Karachi in the coming months. Main purpose of these workshops is to prepare the young mobile applications (app) developers for the Apportunity 2012 contest ‘APP Mein Kitna Hai Dum!’ that was launched earlier this month.
