Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) announced e-Governance Ideas Hunt on the official facebook page of Shahbaz Sharif past Sunday. The last date for the submission of best ideas expired on April 27th.
A panel of five judges is currently evaluating hundreds of innovative ideas sent from all over the country. An official of the PITB told that we have received very interesting ideas from people of different age groups from all walks of life. Apart from youngster, there is a very high percentage of retired civil and army servants who have submitted some very good ideas.
The panel of judges comprising of President P@SHA, Jehan Ara, Chairman PITB, Educationists from LUMS, and Industrialists.
Whoever wins will get Rs. 50,000, the idea will also be implemented in one of Punjab Government’s future projects.
Government of Punjab, at present, is taking multiple of initiatives to promote information technology in the province.
