After so long Punjab Information Technology Board(PITB) finalized the winners of Ideas Hunt Competition that was announced on April 27, 2012 on the occasion of e-Governance exhibition at Arfa Technology Park.
The Ideas Hunt competition gathered some 570 interesting ideas from the people from all over Pakistan that how technology can be used to increase the performance of public sector under the e-Governance regime.
Top 5 categories that attracted most ideas were Higher Education (54), Energy(50), Transport(43), School Education(42) and health(37). Panel of judges finalized top 12 ideas for appreciation. It is not decided yet if any of these ideas will be implemented in actual by government of Punjab or not.
An event was organized in this regard, Anwar Khan, Head of Consumer Sales at Wateen distributed laptops and certificates among the winners.
