Warid Telecom has increased the maintenance charges/fee on all of its recharges. During last one year, cellular operators in Pakistan have been increasing burden on customers owing to administration charges or maintenance fee. Companies say, the ever increasing operational cost is making it impossible for them to bear the burden.
Following the trend, Warid telecom has decided to deduct more from customer’s balance by increasing the maintenance fee on all recharges. The company issued the following statement;
“We at Warid Telecom always believe in providing our customers with quality user experience and services. To maintain these standards of service, maintenance fee has been revised from 1.5% to 2% on all recharges (scratch card, ezeeload, e-pin, etc.) which shall be effective from Thursday, 7th June 2012. Applicable taxes shall also be charged”
