Warid while taking part as social responsible company has stood with Aisam ul Haq Qureshi – famous Pakistani Tennis player – for a drive a against the disaster of tobacco on this World No Tobacco Day (May 31).
A brief video released on social network(Facebook) says that every year 0.6 million die of passive smoking. From the video it seems that basically its public service message by Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital which is being supported by Warid.
Just like direct smoking, passive smoking also causes cardiovascular diseases such as lung cancer, breast cancer, brain tumor, ear, throat and nose infection etc.
