Microsoft has been ruling the market since the times when Bill Gates has introduced the Windows Operating System to the market. It was a huge revolution then that introduced people to GUI. Time and again newer versions of the operating system were launched to keep pace with the technological developments and offer something new to the users. When most of the people were just starting to use the Windows 7 it has announced to launch windows 8 soon. The new OS was talked about at the Build conference. The OS looked promising because of the Metro UI and certain other new features. Microsoft has made the developer’s version available for download.

The Windows 8 is available in both 64 bit and 32bit versions. One can select any based on their hardware configuration. It is preferable that one try out the 32 bit version. It is much smaller in size compared to the 64 bit one with a size of only 2.8 GB, You can download Windows 8 from here. You can create a bootable USB drive for Windows8 as it consumes much less time and gives you the least number of errors.

How it works
  • Before you start with the process, you need to have a USB flash drive with a storage space of at least 8 GB. One cannot use drives with lesser memory. You are also required to have the Windows 7 USB/DVD download Tool. You can download the tool from here.
  • Once you download the tool, launch it. Ensure that you have the .iso file for Windows 8 developer preview. Insert the flash drive into the port.
  • Browse for the .iso file and select it.
